02
Purpose and price
These terms apply when you buy the GetMemoriesOut tool on this site.
The price is €7.90, all taxes included, paid once, with no subscription and no account. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Payment goes through Stripe.
03
What you buy
GetMemoriesOut is a tool that runs in your browser. It reads the ZIP files of your Snapchat export and sorts your Memories by date into a folder on your computer. Your photos and videos never leave your computer.
Before you pay anything, you see the recap of your export and the tool saves 500 free files to your folder. That way you know whether it works on your export before you buy.
You need Chrome or Edge on a computer. On a phone or in another browser, the tool can't save to a folder.
Your purchase unlocks saving all your files in the browser you paid in. The link in your receipt unlocks the tool again, for example in another browser, in up to 3 browsers. A private window, or a browser whose data you cleared, counts as a new one.
04
Order and payment
Once your free files are saved, the “Get them all” button opens Stripe's checkout form in the page.
Before paying, you check the box described in the “Right of withdrawal” section. Without it, the payment doesn't go through.
You pay by card or with Link, Stripe's payment service. The sale is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. The tool unlocks right away and your receipt is sent by email.
05
Right of withdrawal
When you buy at a distance, the law usually gives you 14 days to change your mind. For digital content supplied without a physical medium, like this tool, that right ends once performance has started and three conditions are met (Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code):
- you gave your express consent for the tool to start working before the withdrawal period ends;
- you acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so;
- the seller sent you a confirmation of your consent (Article L221-13, second paragraph).
The checkbox, right before payment, records your consent and your acknowledgment. The tool unlocks as soon as you pay, so it can save the rest of your files right away.
Your receipt, sent by email, repeats the checkbox text. It is the confirmation required by Article L221-13.
Checking the box doesn't take away the refund guarantee in the next section.
I agree that the tool processes my export right away, before the withdrawal period ends, and I acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal. The 14-day refund guarantee still applies if the tool didn't work on my export.
Guarantee: refund if the tool didn't work on your export (wrong dates, lost Memories or a crash), to request within 14 days. Email francohatpro@gmail.com and include the email address on this receipt. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
06
14-day refund guarantee
If the tool didn't work on your export (wrong dates, lost Memories or a crash), you get your money back. Email francohatpro@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase and include the email address on your receipt.
This guarantee is a commitment from the seller. It doesn't replace the right of withdrawal, which you give up by checking the box. Details are on the Refund guarantee page.
07
Legal guarantee of conformity
Like any digital content sold to a consumer, the tool is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code). For a one-time supply, as here, it covers any lack of conformity that shows up within 2 years of the supply.
It comes on top of the 14-day refund guarantee. To use it, email francohatpro@gmail.com.
08
Personal data
Your photos and videos never leave your computer. The privacy policy lists what goes over the network, to whom, and for how long.
09
Mediation
If something goes wrong, email francohatpro@gmail.com first so we can sort it out together.
If your written complaint isn't resolved, you can take it to the consumer mediator, for free: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris. Online form: https://www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php.
10
Territory, governing law and language
The tool is sold to consumers, except people who live in the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey.
These terms are governed by French law.
They exist in French and in English. If the two differ, the French version prevails.
